Dressing Right for Each Job

Why don’t politicians dress chic? This was the discussions my colleagues and I had at the office today. All the men agreed they need to look like they are on the job and not worrying about their clothes and that is why. I have to admit they made a valid point about that but does that mean being chic is considered frivolous? The guys said the word ‘chic’ is just a French way of sounding grand. But then the French are all about Haute couture and gourmet food et al. They are all about being a little extra into something all for being in vogue. Then we talked about fine dressing and being chic getting too much importance in America these days thanks to the success of TV shows like ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘Desperate Housewives’? I guess with the right amount of money everyone wants to dress up fine. However certain jobs require people to dress sensible and not overdo things like the politicians will tell you. I do my shopping online a lot, and my favorite fashion spot these days is the Belisi Fashions site and the Fashions scarves and shawls site. Both sites have a dazzling array of scarves.

I talked about men wearing stylish silk scarves in my last post and wondered to what occasions they would sport one. What’s the right kind of event or venue for a man to wear a silk scarf? We all know the long scarves are great during winter for men. This is especially true of the cashmere scarves that truly keep one warm. But then we are talking dressing right for the weather. What we wanna discuss here is dressing hip and stylish with a long silk scarf. Actually, when I think of scarves and men the picture that comes to mind is that of Jack sparrow and his bandanas and hip scarves and all those funny getups in that Pirate movies. But then Johnny Depp makes anything look cool and hip! Don’t you agree? Ooh la la I say to that. Anyway any ideas about when and where a man can sport a silk scarf with some bold prints and make a statement? I know wearing scarves is a real trend that has set in, especially for women. But I have heard that even guys have started wearing scarves at the work place? Men’s scarves are also in vogue. Silk Ties

Recently one of my colleagues wore this silk tie in brilliant red to the office. Oh! He was getting complements from every corner. His boss was impressed too! I quietly went up to him, asking him from where he had made the purchase. He exclaimed one word – BELISI. Later I discovered that Belisi is an Italian Fashion brand and who knows fashion more than the Italians. I went to their site – www.belisi.com – amazing collections. I found they have an entire site dedicated to Ties. History of Ties, tie knots and so many varied topics are discussed here…www.belisifashionsties.com. That’s exactly how I came to know of Belisi. Best part is, they their profits do Support noble causes – the cause of breast cancer, helping alleviate poverty in Africa, etc. I said to myself “a purchase from Belisi Fashions was worth a noble cause”.

Here you will read about fashion fabs. Office wear, party wear, beach wear, just about anything. By profession I am a web writer, and literally glued to the Internet. I came across this Italian Fashion Brand – Belisi – lovely silk tie, matching pocket squares, silk scarves. What more they are about to launch their luxury line of handbags soon. Their collection is simply awesome. One my colleagues happened to introduce me to the Belisi fashion House – about that in my next post. I thought of dedicating an entire blog to the Belisi Fashion House.
